Tractor Time

We went to my mom and dad's yesterday for lunch and since it was so nice outside, Owen was able to talk PaPa Duane into a tractor ride. When PaPa's up at the barn you can bet Owen will be right beside him the entire time.

Weekend Fun

Owen and I went to Osage Beach last weekend with Donna to stay in a "ho-tale" as he called it and do some shopping. We had a great time watching Owen charm everyone he came into contact with. One guy even gave him a dollar! I think next time we'll put a sign on him.

Grammy taught Owen how to play hide and seek in the middle of the clothing racks at Osh Kosh. It was okay with me until we got to Banana Republic and he tried climbing up a rack full of nice shoes! I told him to get down and he replied, "But Gwammy said!" I informed him I didn't care what she said and that he was to get down...he eventually got down.

Grammy bought him a new pair of shades, with a matching case, of course.

"How you doin?"

Still sportin' the shades.

A famous "Cheese" smile before going to dinner, I think we have Allie to thank for that.

Pretend Play

It has become a nightly event for Owen and Nathan to play cowboys while riding their "horses". Nathan's horse's name is Bullet and Owen's is Pinto. He is quick to say Pinto is a boy, he's yellow, fast and very nice.

Every once and a while Owen wants to "ride" with Nathan so they can shoot together. This time I happened to be the bad guy.

This looks like some serious shooting going on.

Switching gears to be a cute little pirate here!

This is his sheriff attire that we happily keep at Grammy's house.

Sleepover

I asked my friend Kelly to watch Owen last Friday and she strongly suggested he spend the night on Thursday so I agreed. Kyndell and Kamryn were so excited and when we got there they kept asking me why I was still there and when I was going to leave. I kissed Owen goodbye several times, a little reluctant to leave him, and he barely even told me bye! He had a great time and was completely worn out when I got there Friday.

Ready for bed in the play room. The girls might not have been smiling quite as big if they would have known Owen would be ready to play by 5:00 the next morning!

If I had to guess, I would assume they were watching Hannah Montana here. The other day Kamryn was talking about her and said "She's a great singer you know."

Chuck E. Cheese Please

Owen has been requesting to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for about a month now so we met Shane, Amber and Allie there last night. I think Shane and Nathan had just as much fun as Owen and Allie.

Before we left the house he said "I need my cowboy hat so I can ride the horse!"

Allie grinned from ear to ear the entire time she was riding.

He just overcame his fear of slides a week ago and now goes down them every way he can!

A little anger management session.

Snow Much Fun

We went to PaPa Jim and Grammy's house on Saturday for Owen's first snowball fight. He got mad at Nathan the first couple times he got hit with one but quickly learned to laugh it off and throw another one right back at him.

Checking out the snow before the fight began.

He had to have Grammy assemble all of his snowballs for him and everytime she handed him another one he'd say "Thank you!".

In route to get Daddy.

Going in for the tackle, still holding the snowball.

Three generations and a dog named Sue.
